Fishing
I think I am addicted to the adrenaline dump, that instant when a fish hits the line and your entire body is overcome with excitement. It doesn’t matter if it’s an outrigger clip snapping and a tuna screaming line off or the little nibble of a white perch on a mini fishing rod. That amazing 3 second jolt to your system, that is an addiction worth having. Now that “jolt of adrenaline” isn’t the only thing I love about fishing. Our family has been very blessed to experience the amazing canvas God creates. The colors in the sunrise after running east in pitch black for hours is proof enough that god exists. We have so many good times on the water, it’s a great way to relax and just be present together. It’s also a way that we harvest protein in our never ending quest to raise and harvest all of our own meat.
